The curtains are down for Google’s biggest show of the year – The Google I/O 2020. It is all set to hold on May 12-14 at the Shoreline Amphitheater. This amphitheater is right next to Google’s Mountain View headquarters. The tickets should be for sale in February via lottery for $1000.
The Google I/O was a great success last year as it established the return of Google Hardware launch. They showcased cheaper Pixel 3a as they targeted midrange smartphones. Apart from this, they bung with the more prominent smart display, namely the Google Nest Hub Max. Nest merged with Google in February 2018, and later on, in 2019, it became a sub-brand of Google. Thus, ‘‘Works with Nest’’ smartphone has a final goodbye. Android launched Android (10) Q Beta 3, with the revamp gesture navigation system and disclosure of the Project Mainline update system.
Believing the rumors, Pixel 4a is going to launch at the event and combat all the flaws of Pixel 4. It offers a front hole-punch display, a headphone jack, and a rear fingerprint reader. Other highlights revealed that the next beta version Android 11R would debut in March, with the second beta in April and the third beta in time for I/O.
This event has upheld a lot of surprises and features for the world of smartphones.
