Are you traveling to China? You could face quarantine after January 15.

As per the recent report from travel advisory, a person with travel history from china can have disease symptoms after January 15 because of the Novel Coronavirus outbreak.

The report has been issued by the Ministry of Health on Sunday and advised everyone not to visit China in any case.

Ministry of Health tweeted “New Travel Advisory for #novelcoronavirus: Indians should refrain from travel to #China. In the case of travel, on return from China, they could be quarantined. Anyone with travel history in #China since January 15, 2020, and from now on could be [email protected] @drharshvardhan,”

Along with the Health Ministry, the Ministry of External Affairs also raised obligation on traveling. As per their advisory, you can’t go to India by E-visas if you are a Chinese passport holder and applicant of any other nationality residing in Chinese states. The whole obligation is the impact of recent development that happened in the country.

As per the official release by Press Information Bureau, MEA confirmed the obligation and raised an advisory that travel with E-Visas gets suspended for a temporary period. It applies to all Chinese passport holders and people from other nationalities residing currently in China.

There was a meeting held between cabinet Secretary and other Ministers regarding the preparation of the novel coronavirus outbreak. After the agreement, traveling got banned with immediate effect. The meeting attendees are secretaries of Health and Family Welfare, External Affairs, Home Affairs, Civil Aviation, Department of Health Research, representatives from ITBP, AFMS, and NDMA.

As of now, around 58,658 travelers from 445 flight screening happened. Out of this number, 142 people have shown the disease symptoms and sent to isolation facilities by ISDP. Two cases of coronavirus detected in Kerala on January 31 and February 2. Moreover, the government of India sent two air India flights to pick 600 Indian nationals from Wuhan to a safer destination.

The disease has infected 13000 people worldwide, and 300 death reports are there in China alone. As per the personal announcement, Europe, United States, and Asia have canceled all the scheduled flights from china due to the life-taking disease. The trips also include IndiGo and Air India.
